You know your pet better than anyone. If you feel his or her medical condition is serious and cannot wait, seek emergency care immediately.

As pet owners ourselves, we know that emergency situations don’t always happen at the most convenient times. If you have an emergency outside of our normal business hours, we refer our clients to the following emergency facility:

WHEN TO SEEK EMERGENCY CARE

The following general situations should help you determine if you need to seek emergency care for your pet:

  • Seizures

  • Straining to urinate

  • Excessive sneezing or nosebleeds

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Problems with the eyes

  • Abnormal vaginal discharge

  • Abnormal swellings under skin

  • Pale gums

  • Vomiting and/or diarrhea

  • Severely swollen abdomen

  • Prolonged anorexia

  • Paralysis

  • Facial swelling
